Now that’s a good question and one we should ask of any internet marketer etc who we may be thinking about buying products from… so from the top…

My name is Pete, I’m a hard working 42 year old family man from Leicester, UK,
I’m also an information publishing product developing internet marketing entrepreneur in the making… (now that’s a mouthful!) but more on that later.
My story will be a familiar one to many of you out there… hard working guy enjoying his life, meets his soul mate, settles down starts to raise a family… then finds that the ever increasing costs of living and supporting a family, the relentless march of tax rises and new tax’s (surely the ‘original’ multi-income stream formular) render him in a position where he has to work six and often seven day weeks just to keep above the bread line… and as for maybe buying a bigger house as the family grows… or even changing the family car more than once a decade, well forget it cos it just ain’t gonna happen!, at least not while I stay in a regular mainstream job.

Now obviously a life which is biased heavily in favor of such long working hours is not very relationship/family friendly. it’s also a matter of annoyance that no matter how good I have become in my day job, and having risen up several pay grades, I am actually worse off now than I was ten years ago thanks to the multitude of tax rises/new tax’s, fuel & utility bill increases, in fact what is so frustrating is the realisation that even though I’m in a skilled and reasonably paid job, It is very unlikely I will ever be able to improve my family’s lot in life… I will forever remain a wage slave always struggling to remain one step ahead of that steady onslaught called the cost of living…. and needless to say it did not take long for the realisation to sink in that I really did need this situation to change.

Re-skilling at my age although not an impossibility, would not lead to a big enough increase in income to make it worth while, I needed something I could do in a standard 5 day week which would give us a significant boost to our income so we could have more freedom, enjoy more of life and allow us to give our kids better opportunities as they grow up instead of having to work every hour going, stressing about when the next bills are due and always having to look for the ‘budget’ deals when considering a holiday each year.
Now some people will say… “you don’t need money to be happy, all you need is love”, Hmmm now that’s a very rosy and blinkered statement and not one you will ever hear from anyone who has money, it’s the sort of statement you get from people who have never had much money and, barring a lucky win on the lottery, probably never will.

Imagine someone who has worked hard and become a millionaire, and has enjoyed all the extra trappings and freedom which such a position brings, do you think they will ever tell you they would be just as happy without the money? of course not! and if they did would you believe them…? I sure as heck wouldn’t!, who in their right mind would trade in… endless money on tap, several lovely top of the range cars, holidays three times a year destination absolutely anywhere as cost does not matter, meals in the finest restaurants, first class flights every where, top hotel suites, nice big house and grounds ( oh and a couple of holiday homes in prestigious resorts, being able to buy anything which takes your fancy… for…

Working six and seven days a week, stressed and always tired, always struggling to balance the family income against the cost of living, always booking the cheapest holiday for your one holiday a year, one car bought second hand and which you know you will have to keep for up to 10 years, a cheap takeaway once a month and the odd fry up in the local greasy spoon, six of you crammed into a little three bedroom house with a garden the size of a postage stamp, having to save for three months just to buy a new chip pan… yes of course i’m sure there are rich and successful people just queing up to swap places…NOT!.

We struggle relationship wise If I do work all those extra hours, and struggle financially if I dont…it’s one of those hair tearing AAAHHHhhhh kind of situations, or at least it would be if I was an impulsive and emotionally reactive kind of person, which I’m not, I like to look at any given situation and figure a way around, through or over it, and it’s because I kept my eye’s open that I became aware of this business where you could make money with simple information products, these were physical products generally marketed off-line through newspaper and magazine ads, also through direct response mail campaigns, they were in the form of ‘how to…’ books & manuals, CD’s, DVD’s, audio courses, they can be cheap to produce and sold for 100′s of percent profit… and how can this be justified? because people are buying the information these products contain, information which will help them to do or achieve a certain thing… so ultimately the products value lies in it’s relevance and usefulness to the customer… and there are plenty of customers!.

I then became aware of ‘digital’ products, these did not have physical form (so cut out reproduction, packaging and mailing costs) but were distributed through digital downloads… they came as ebooks, software, audio and video courses (which can either be listened to/viewed online or downloaded to your computer).

Now as I’m the kind of guy who wants to give his family as good a life as I can, this seemed like the kind of business for me, it would allow me to vastly increase our family income whilest cutting down to a normal working week… and that is why I am here creating this blog site as my gateway to the information publishing business. It is from here that I will showcase various products and services whilst writing interesting and informative posts so visitors to my site can get to know more about the business, learn a bit about me, and hopefully come to trust me enough to eventually become customers.
My success will always be closely linked, and even dependent upon, my abililty and willingness to go out of my way to help both my contacts and my customers, keep stopping by this site and you will see it continue to grow and become filled with useful content and information some of which is bound to be useful to you…

So, wherever it is you are going and whatever it is you want to do I wish you the best of luck and hope you come back to visit my site soon.
